Todd and his wife, Cheryl, have been married for 18 years and have three children.
Born in Quebec, Todd continues to enthusiastically support the Habs. He enjoys playing Settlers of Catan with his boys and has recently taken up gardening…although he’s not sure if he ‘enjoys’ it yet.
Todd reminds us of James 1:21, “Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls." Todd’s comment: “Just trying to figure out what it means to receive the implanted word with meekness and to root out all that filthiness that inhabits the deep corners of my heart.”
Roger was born in Alberta during the time that his parents were studying at Prairie Bible Institute. He became a follower of Christ when he was ten years old and made a commitment to be an “all-in” follower at the age of 18 when he was baptized.
Roger and his wife, Margaret, met at London Baptist Bible College and have been married for 26 years. They have four children.
Roger is excited about being with people and seeing God make real changes in their lives.
Jeremiah 30:21-22 says, “Who would dare of himself to approach me? Declares the Lord.” Another reading is, “Who is the one who devotes himself to draw near to me?” Roger’s thoughts: “It is only through Christ we dare approach the Holy One but in him we run into the presence of God. Yet to draw near we must devote ourselves, saying no to some things and yes to others—those things that either draw us near or keep us away from knowing the Lord fully. I have been asking myself, ‘What am I devoted to? What direction are my choices taking me? What am I willing to do or to give up in order to be near to God?’”
Les was born in Germany and emigrated to Canada at a young age, settling in Kinston, ON where he later studied Engineering at Queen’s University. Les and his wife, Judi, have been married for 31 years and they have two children. After a 26 year career in Engineering, Les responded to God’s call to ministry enrolling at Tyndale Seminary and earning a Master of Divinity degree in 2003. Les enjoys sailing, skiing and studying Theology.
Les has been a follower of Christ for 26 years and has been part of Harvest since its inception.. His spiritual gifts are teaching and helping others to discover the richness of who God is and to know Him more.
Proverbs 23:23 “Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding.” Les explains, “To buy something is to exchange the resources that you have for that which you don’t have but want. This verse tells us that we should each be filled with a desire to go for the Truth, to understand it and apply it. My heart’s desire is that followers of Christ would go beyond the shallow platitudes of our times and plunge deep into all the riches of the knowledge of Jesus Christ.. who is the Truth.”
